Dura-Metal Products Corporation provides ultra-hard material fabrication services. We fabricate and finish WEAR and CORROSION RESISTANT PARTS and TOOLING for diverse industrial markets. A privately owned business, located in southwestern Pennsylvania, USA, approximately 30 miles east of Pittsburgh, we have been proudly satisfying the needs of customers for over 30 years. Today, our operations are housed in a modern 30,000 square foot manufacturing facility on 11 acres of ground. We have assembled a comprehensive array of precision electrical discharge (ram and wire), grinding and machining capabilities. To further our commitment to Quality, we continually upgrade our computer-numerically controlled (CNC) machine tool capacity and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) technology. Although we often work from customer-prepared drawings, we are pleased to provide application engineering assistance, when needed. Dura-Metal's Engineering Department offers computer-aided design (CAD) support to our customers. We also make recommendations to help our customers to select the optimal materials and grades, for even the most challenging manufacturing applications.
	From its inception, over 30 years ago, Dura-Metal Products Corporation has based its reputation on quality services. This reputation has given us a solid base of repeat customers who rely on our precision consistency. Many companies consider quality assurance to be limited to the domain of the inspection department. By contrast, Dura-Metal believes that quality assurance starts BEFORE a customer order is received and continues AFTER the product is shipped. At Dura-Metal, we visually and dimensionally inspect all incoming materials. Then, every machine operator becomes an "In-Process Inspector" and is accountable for output quality. Our machine tool operators dimensionally document all work as it is processed. Those dimensions are then verified again before product shipment.
